* The events marked "Qualifier" are events that, if the number of teams competing meets the minimum level (15 teams the first year and 25 teams thereafter), the Grand Champion of the contest will be qualified to be invited to national events like the American Royal and Great American BBQ and be in the "draw" for an invitation to the Jack Daniels World invitational BBQ Championship.
