      • 18 Judges. Judges will be selected with preference for PNWBA current paid members certified as PNWBA BBQ Judges. Should there still be openings, PNWBA CBJ's with lapsed membership will be used, then KCBS certified BBQ judges will be used.
      • 3 Table Captains. Preference will be to PNWBA current paid members certified as Table Captains.
      • 2-3 Food Runners. Takes entries checked in at the turn-in table and places in appropriate table location.
      • 1-2 Meat Wranglers - bags judged entries and dispose of garnish.

The head judges will make the final assessment of volunteers and choose the seated judges. Tables will also be adjusted at the event to try and even out the judge levels and experience.

Sweet Home Icebox Cookoff Team Registration

We are more than excited to be working with RSH Icebox Performance, J&C BBQ, local sponsors and leaders from the City of Sweet Home to make this competition come to life. We are blessed to come across such a warm welcome from this group of individuals to make this competition a reality. Because of this strong support, we are over $10,000 in cash payouts plus other giveaways from businesses national and local.

Please submit your team information so we can best plan for this competition. All payments including involvement in both SCA & PNWBA competitions will be due to Mike White @Best Damn BBQ Sauce via Venmo or Paypal by April 3rd. If you are doing SCA, please go to steakcookoffs.com to register so our SCA Rep Tom Riggs has real time registration numbers so he can prep appropriately.
