Do you think you know what is good “BBQ”?
Are you a competition BBQ pitmaster looking to get a better idea of what judges look for to improve your scores?
Have you wondered exactly what happens during a BBQ competition in the judges’ tent?
Do you love smoked traditional BBQ meats?
Here is your chance to become a certified BBQ judge and to taste some of the best BBQ in the world. As a class participant you will have the opportunity to sample four competition meats:
- Pork Butt (Shoulder)
- Beef Brisket
- Chicken
- Pork Ribs
Upon completion of the class, you will be able to sign up to judge at any PNWBA sanctioned BBQ event.
When:
Friday, April 19th from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM
What to bring:
Bring a notebook and pen to take notes, and bring your appetite - there will be delicious BBQ meats sampled during class.
Entry Fee:
$95.00 USD per Student, free for volunteers.
Entry fees include one year of PNWBA Membership
$10.00 of registration fee non-refundable for processing fees.
Cancelations and refunds(less processing fees) available until April 15, 2024.
