Important... You must be logged into this website with your email and password in order to access the registration for the event.
At this time, we are planning on 5 judging tables based on updated team count.
Only PNWBA members with current 1,3,5 year and lifetime memberships may participate for this PNWBA members event weekend.
We are looking for the following:
• 30 Judges. Judges will be selected with preference for PNWBA Advanced CBJ Workshop attendees, then PNWBA Certified BBQ Judges.
• 5 Table Captains. Preference will be to certified as Table Captains.
• 3-5 Volunteers, i.e. Food Runners, Meat Wranglers, and general helpers.
Due to the fluid nature of this event, signing up does not guarantee a judging spot. Please be willing to volunteer as needed. Should there be a reduction in judges needed, an email will be sent to see if you would wish to volunteer.
The head judges will make the final assessment of volunteers and choose the seated judges. Tables will also be adjusted at the event to try and even out the judge levels and experience.
Waitlist:
Please sign up for the waitlist if initial spots are full. We had to use several folks from the waitlist for our last event.
Safety Requirements:
Your Board of Directors takes your comfort and safety seriously. They examined the social distancing, masking, etc in place at the Clearwater and decided whatever the Clearwater implements, at the direction of the state and county, the PNWBA will abide by. The staff there is arranging our seating and other factors with COVID precautions in mind. We highly advise vaccinations. We will be masked when gathered (Except for eating or drinking). We want every one of our members to emerge as healthy as they arrived!
Gloves - Table Captains and other volunteers handling turn-in boxes or food require provided gloves.

12:00 pm- Judges Meeting. Table Captains and volunteer meeting follows.
Turn-in Times:
- 12:30pm- Pork
- 1:00pm - Brisket
- 1:30pm - Chicken
- 2:00pm - Ribs
Window is 5 minutes before the hour to 5 minutes after the turn in time.
