BERRY DAIRY DAYS SMOKE AND GRILL COMPETITION

IN BURLINGTON, WA

JUNE 20th through 22nd, 2025

Registration Deadline extended to June 3rd.

Team Limit - 35+ Teams. A waitlist will be available.

Site size is standard at 20x20 feet. Contact the organizer or PNWBA rep if you require a larger space.

This is a fully sanctioned traditional 4 meat PNWBA event and the second time PNWBA has sanctioned the 2025 Berry Dairy Days Smoke and Grill Competition coming to Burlington, WA. There is a total prize purse of $5,000.

Berry Dairy Days is a three-day festival held June 20-22, 2025. On Sunday June 22nd, our standard 4-meat competition happens during the Festival in the Park, Cornhole Tournament, Entertainment stage with live music, Vendor Fair, Shortcake Booth, Kid Zone, and Teen Zone and so much more!

Sampling:

A portion of the proceeds from sampling will be going to the Burlington Chamber Foundation and will help in workforce development efforts for the Students of Burlington-Edison School District and the upcoming workforce to prepare them to be workforce ready in our community

1-Day Sampling - 2oz sampling cups provided, you will need to bring your own sampling meat and supplies.

Cost is $4.00 per token; the sampling split is 35/65 (35% to the Chamber and 65% to the team)

When: Saturday, June 21, 2025 Only! No Sunday Sampling!

Times: Sampling is 11:00am to 4:00pm

Note: The Burlington Chamber of Commerce will NOT provide meat for sampling this year.

The Burlington Chamber of Commerce will be responsible for the selling of tokens, the redemption of tokens, and delivering the check for the 65% split before you leave on Sunday.

REQUIRED Health Department Permit:

A health department permit is REQUIRED to PARTICIPATE in this competition. Please submit as early as possible. The permits are required to be submitted no later than June 4th at 4pm so the event organizers can purchase the permits on the team's behalf.

The form has already been partially filled out.  There is no fee - you will be attached to the Chamber's umbrella permit for the competition.

Team Requirements:

Please review the Team Rules Page, even if you are an experienced team. Each site will be inspected to meet these requirements listed in the team rules. If you are a new to competition BBQ team or new to PNWBA competitions, we recommend visiting our New Team Info page.

Registration Fee:

Team entry fee is $195.00 USD and is non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation by the event coordinator, $182.50 will be refunded from the payment made. Regardless of the situation, a designated amount of $12.50 from the entry fee is non-refundable to cover payment and event processing expenses.

Registration Payment Due:

Team entry fees must be paid at the time of registration.

Site Utilities:

Power: Power is VERY LIMITED, if you are dependent on power bring your own quiet generator.

Potable Water - provided by venue

Trash disposal – provided by venue

Ash disposal – provided by venue

Grease disposal – provided by venue

Grey water disposal – provided by venue

Ice - Nearby retail outlets have ice.

20x20 Maximum – Contact the organizer directly if you need larger accommodations as they may be limited.

Accommodations:

There is an area for RV parking at the venue, but you will need to dry dock. And you MUST contact Steph with the RV information and get pre-approved because space is limited for RV parking, its first come basis.  No power, water, or sewer available.  There are numerous motels, hotels and campgrounds close to the venue.
