The President called the meeting to order at 6:34 pm.

Approve minutes
Motion to approve the minutes from the February call-in meeting was approved. Steve will post the February Minutes to the forum.

Treasurer's Report/Update
Lance presented the financial reports. We have some deferred revenue from events and classes at Pasco which were canceled and applied to future events or classes These amounts will reduce as they are used up against future events and classes. Motion to approve the financial reports passed.

Committee Reports:

Events Committee:
Bill: Sent out committee meeting notes to document where we’re at with events. Will submit meeting notes to board and regular meetings with HJ, Organizer, and Event Committee / Board member.

Sweet Home – 4/10-11. Bill said he will help. Rush will provide mikes and amplifier. Insurance – KCBS has always jumped on the insurance of the event as a named insured. Bill and Rush will research and report back to the board. Can we be named on his insurance? We would need their certificate showing us their rider.

Redmond, OR. Completed an application for 6/26-27. Board approved sanctioning without sampling requirement.

Another event in Spokane – the same weekend as Redmond Organizer might be able to move to July. $2,500. One day 3-meat event. Sanctioning approved for 7/24 provided they can move the event to that date.

Per Lance, Organizers can now pay sanctioning fees online.

Famous Dave’s event ~ end of July. Saffron will check.

Social Media Demo Videos. Combination with PNWBA and Canadian BBQ. Both websites. Possible dual logo video. Steve W chicken, Janice – tri-tip. Board liked the idea as it’s a way of gaining memberships for both teams. Eric will send clips to the board. Leaning toward combined videos/logos. Include product endorsements? Agreed that would rather not. Johnson’s pork is interested in sponsoring pork-produced products. Dual logo demo video. Motion passed by the board to continue working on this.

7/17 – Feed the troops is coming up in Spokane @ Fairchild AFB. No donation has been requested yet.
Pat: Clearwater Annual Meeting. Get money back if govt won’t allow it. Send a $500 deposit. Then membership meeting committee takes over the process. Board approved the deposit.

Cooking classes – need to start holding. Pat will work with Rob to see what can put on the calendar.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was passed at 8:40 pm.
