Approve minutes
Motion to approve the minutes from the April call-in meeting was approved. Steve will post the April Minutes to the forum.
Treasurer's Report/Update
Lance presented the financial reports. P&L included Sweet Home income and some Amazon volunteer supplements received. The balance sheet was relatively on par with normal. Sweet Home postmortem income $2700 from judging classes and $1,100 from teams. Net $1,000 judging about $1,600 minus contributions to Mike. Motion to approve passed.
Events Committee
The Board officially approved the email motion to sanction Tunnel Days in Skykomish.
Steve W. discussed the Back yard Covid Q competition in Langley, BC. There is an expectation that movement and limited gatherings will be allowed in time for the event on July 10th. Head judges are working on a plan to officially score the competition remotely with assistants on site. 15 teams allowed and the board confirmed sanctioning.
New business:
Leroy Payne – has asked for a $2,500 donation from PNWBA to support the Feed the Troops event at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane. It will be used to pay for food and accouterments. The board approved a motion to provide the donation out of our designated charitable funds.
Someone brought up the Grant county 1st annual Chillin’ and Grillin’ event on 9/11 which uses PNWBA Rules verbatim. We need a canned response to incidents such as these. It was suggested that we look into developing a partnership with them rather than threatening legal action.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was passed at 7:10 pm.
The next board meeting will be on June 23, 2021, at 6:30 pm.
