Saturday and Sunday Vending (Optional):

Teams participating in the competition are encouraged (but not required) to do public vending from 11:00am to 5:00pm Saturday and again 11:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday. Last year the weather was PERFECT and everyone ran out quickly. Please look at the forecast and let that help be your guide on the amount to bring. The venue will write checks directly on-site for the sampling and will handle all token/ticket sales. Be creative! Diversity in vending is what keeps folks interested in buying more. If teams are short members, combining forces to cook and serve is perfectly acceptable. Please get with Bill Stock about your planned partnership with details on how that will work.

Health Department Requirements:

  • A “Temporary Food Permit” for King County will be required to be filled out and submitted to the event organizer NO LATER than end of business MONDAY SEPTEMBER 15th, 2025 for each team vending.

  • The Event Organization is covering the temporary food permit fees.
  • The “Temporary Food Permit” will be emailed to individuals after sign-up from the event organizers.
  • Temporary Flooring: By King County Health Department, your food prep and service area needs to have some sort of "temporary flooring". A tarp, canvas, plywood, rubber matting, outdoor carpeting, etc. can be used. This is per King County Health Department guidelines. Please contact Bill Stock for questions.
Team Requirements:

Please review the >Team Rules Page, even if you are an experienced team. Each site will be inspected to meet these requirements. If you are a new to competition BBQ team or new to PNWBA competitions, we recommend visiting our >New Team Info page.

Registration Fee:

Team entry fee is $195.00.

Registration Payment Due:

Team entry fees must be paid at the time of registration.

Site Utilities:

  • Power: Power is available to all teams. HOWEVER... last year we had a GFI breaker or 2 go but for the most part there is good power. IF you are in need of extra power or using multiple devices at once or high amp food warmers, it is YOUR responsibility to bring a backup generator to power your needs. Available power cannot be guaranteed!
  • Potable Water will be available within yards of your sites.
  • Trash Disposal - BAG your trash. Put it behind your site and those BAGS will be collected.
  • Ash Disposal - Hot ash containers will be available and labelled.
  • Grease Disposal - A commercial grease bin is available on the grounds
  • Grey Water Disposal - There will be a temporary utility sink on site with a strainer (if possible) for dumping gray water. Please use it and keep it clean and clear for the next person. Limit as much grease and solids as you can please!
