Do you think you know what good “BBQ” is? Have you wondered exactly what happens during a BBQ competition in the judges tent? Do you love smoked traditional BBQ meats? Are you a competition BBQ pitmaster looking to get a better idea of what judges look for to improve your scores?

Here is your chance to become a certified BBQ judge and to taste some of the best BBQ in the world. As a class participant you will have the opportunity to sample four competition meats:

• Pork Butt (Shoulder)
• Beef Brisket
• Chicken
• Pork Ribs.

Upon completion of the class you will be able to sign up to judge at any PNWBA sanctioned BBQ event. There are two sanctioned events remaining in 2022, so you can put your new judging skills to use.

When:

Sunday, October 2nd from 10:00am to 3pm. 

What to bring:

Bring a notebook and pen to take notes, and bring your appetite - there will be delicious BBQ meats sampled during class.

Entry Fee:

• $75.00 USD per Student
• $60.00 USD for those who are current KCBS Certified BBQ Judges. KCBS CBJ# Required

Entry fees include one year of PNWBA Membership

$10.00 of registration fee non-refundable for processing fees.
