2024 Dessert Auction for Feed the Troops

The PNWBA is once again committed to supporting our military service members and veterans through our amazing "Feed the Troops" events. These events, which provide food and supplies, are funded by one of the most exciting parts of the Annual Awards Banquet – the Dessert Auction! This year, it will take place on Saturday, November 9th, during the banquet, and we need your help to make it a sweet success!

We're asking all banquet attendees to consider participating in this deliciously fun event. Even if you don't bake, you can still join in! Desserts can be homemade or store-bought – everything from a beautifully decorated cake to irresistible cinnamon rolls is welcome! If you’re not a baker, don’t worry; you can still bid on some incredible desserts!

This year’s auction will be silent during Social Hour, so take a stroll through, view all the tempting treats, and place your bids! The top 5 highest-bid desserts will go to the live auction to really maximize our fundraising for the Feed the Troops initiative.

There will be a special display area in the banquet room to showcase your dessert entry. We encourage you to include a description of your dessert to help entice bidders. Remember, your dessert should be big enough to serve a full table of 8 people – everyone wants a taste! The more we raise, the more troops and veterans we can support through future Feed the Troops events.

And here’s a sweet bonus: the donor of the dessert that raises the most money will receive their PNWBA membership fee for next year – paid in full! So it’s a win-win for everyone – our troops, our banquet attendees, and you!

If you're planning to donate a dessert, please register for the dessert auction. You don't have to decide on the exact dessert yet, but giving us a general idea of what you're thinking will help us plan. You can contribute multiple desserts, but each dessert requires its own registration. This helps us keep track of the number and types of desserts for the event. Please note, we ask that no additional unregistered desserts be brought the night of the auction for better organization and timing.

If you change your mind about your dessert entry, no problem! You can either cancel your registration and re-register with the new dessert or simply let our dessert coordinator know.
