Discussions
Approve Minutes – Diane
A motion to approve the minutes from the September 2023 meeting was approved. Diane will post the minutes to the forum for the membership.
Financial – Lance
There was no treasurer’s report for October.
Committee Reports:
Events – Bill S.
Lynden, Washington is having a contest at the fairgrounds in conjunction with the April Home and Garden Show. April 12-14. Their application has been submitted for approval. Christene made a motion to approve the sanctioning application, and it was seconded by Sheldon. The motion was voted on and approved.
Training – Karen S.
Details and planning of the upcoming judging class at the Clearwater Casino were discussed.
Finance – Lance R.
No Report.
New Business
Year end awards were discussed and voted on.
Jane reminded the BOD committee chairpersons that they need to prepare a report for the annual meeting to be held at the Clearwater Casino on November 10th.
The need for candidates to run for the board was announced for the upcoming election in December 2023.
Announcements:
The next meeting will be held by Go To Meeting on December 20th, beginning at 6:30pm and ending at approximately 7:30pm.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made at 7:45pm and seconded by Bill. The motion was voted on and approved, and the meeting was adjourned.
