Discussion on the Puyallup Event
The judging class went well.
Bill said that the sampling requirements will be made clearer to the teams next year, especially to existing teams. Jason A. said that many of the new teams were caterers, who didn’t understand what “samples” meant. Jason H. said that samples should be 3-5 bites. We should take photos of samples, so it’s more easily understood. We should also emphasize the hours that sampling is required. Bill said that by 3pm, 50% of the teams were sold out. Our gross sales for the event were $55,000, which is an 11% increase over the previous year.
